I am not even home and can't wait to get home so I can get back in the "foster groove". Excitement and trepidation all at the same time. Gotta luv it!!

Kathy - it's so nice to know I'm not alone!

I get excited just hoping for one to come! Crazy, huh? But there is something really special about being able to be a part of improving the life of one of these guys.

Does anyone else get all excited and goofy when you know you're getting a new foster? Gus is coming to my house tonight and I'm SO excited. I've felt that way about each one of the foster's I've had (even Wilbur and Harvey, who I knew would be significant challenges).

Maxi went to her forever home on Saturday. I think she is one lucky dog! Her new family has 2 12 yr old kids, who fell in love with her immediately. I am relieved and sad to see her go. She was so well trained, all we did was love her, feed her and play with her. My three daughters (adopted from Ukraine 4 years ago) did a great job of loving her and letting her go!
She was so easy! Maybe my next foster will be more difficult. But I loved that we were able to save Maxi and give her a new life! I rescued my daughters and now doodles! We are open for more rescues!
