Hi everyone. We're ready for our first DRC foster! My husband and I took in a golden-doodle for six weeks while his owner recuperated from surgery. We enjoyed the challenge of correcting some behaviors. And we loved how our dog played with our 'guest', and helped him to learn as well.

That's Molly...it took about 2 weeks for her to charm him!

It is the best of times, it is the worst of times!! It is heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. Be ready for the roller coaster of emotions and expectations. It is a true learning experience - and to be truthful - I do most of the learning not the doodle.
I am really glad to have this opportunity to share with other fosters. Thanks Jacquie!

IF JACKDOODLE CAN WARM UP TO A FOSTER, ANY DOG CAN!

I am not able to foster at this time, but have a great interest in trying to set up a doodle foster network in our area. Foster families have my utmost admiration and respect. I would like to learn more.
