Cleo was rescued from a kill shelter in Alabama in 2010. She was emaciated and heartworm positive when she arrived in the DRC Rescue Program.

DRC volunteer Kristen Fuhrmann Galloway pulled and fostered this beautiful girl and gave her back her original name "Snuggles."

Together with her hubby, Kristen nursed Snuggles back to health and saw her through her heartworm treatment. When it came time to find Snuggles her forever home Kristen could not bear to part with her. So Snuggles became a permanent member of Kristen's Doodle-Love family in Alabama!

Here are a few photos of Snuggles today. Hard to believe it's the same doodle!
