The demand for these dogs is far greater than the number available in rescue, and there are very good pre-approved applicants waiting.
When applying for a specific dog, be sure that you know where the dog is located and are willing and able to drive to the foster location to get the dog if you should be chosen as the adoptive family. Dogs fostered in FL have to be picked up in Florida, dogs fostered in TX have to be picked up in Texas, and so on. Except in very rare circumstances, we do not permit commercial transport of our dogs, even if an adopter is willing to pay for it, as this is not in the best interests of the dogs.
Please review our Adoption Policies and Procedures before applying. These can be found under the About DRC- Our Mission in the blue area at the top of the page.
Specific questions around application status should be addressed to adoption@doodlerescuecollectiveinc.org
Until we have an approved application on file, we are unable to directly contact interested parties with specific information on the dogs in the program.
