Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue

Rocky, my foster dog went to his new forever home on Sunday 2/27/11. He was such a sweet fellow, and why anyone said he was agressive is beyond me!

He was rescued from a kill shelter in Southeast VA ( where we got Benson aka Charlie). He is a black labradoodle with a cropped tail. He was 58 lbs and just needed a family to love him. He was house trained ( 3 accidents in the first few days), knew basic commands and loved to play frisbee.

One of the gifts you get as a foster family is the unconditional love of the animal and the joy in seeing them blossom into the great loving dog you knew they were made to be. Yes it is hard to let them go, especially when your pack ( Bailey and Bella) fall in love with the foster too!  Bailey is missing Rocky a lot- he misses his playmate.

But the forever family that adopted him got a great dog and we hope that Rocky loves NY! He loved the nylabone they brought for him and his new orange collar is beautiful  against his black coat.

Congratulations!  another love story is beginning.....

Diane, thanks so much for taking such good care of Rocky and giving him a chance to find his forever family! May they all live happily ever after!
Enjoy your new life, Rocky!  Thanks, DRC!
Thank you Diane!...You are amazing and we love you!

Hi Rocky,

Samantha and Charli here. We hope that you love your new life with those 2 cute boys - I bet you will have them trained soon enough that they will know when it's time to get outside and play ball with you! WOL!!
Way to go Rokcy! Have a happy life.

Maybe you don't live too far from NJ and your humans would consider coming and playing with us at the dog beach this summer.

Love,

Samantha and Charli

Thanks so much for helping Rocky find his forever home.
Hooray! Rocky is home sweet home with us in NY. He is as lovable as Diane promised. Thank you for all of your work on his behalf! We will take good care of him and give him lots and lots of love.
Yay!!  Another happily ever after story.  Thanks Tricia for giving this boy another chance.
