Wanting to adopt
We see Dude is available and would love to meet him. We have sent our application but have not gotten a response. Is he still available?

Adoptions are conducted privately via email and phone calls between the adopter coordinator, the foster, and the applicant. We cannot discuss adoption status here on the website in the public forums.
Meetings are not arranged until an applicant has been been approved, interviewed, and selected as a possible adopter.
Dozens of applications are received for each dog, and due to the volume of email, only those applicants who are the best matches for the dog are contacted. There is autoresponse that goes out when you submit an application to acknowledge receipt. Check your spam folder for that.
We are also coming out of the holidays, and all of our volunteers have families, jobs, homes, their own dogs, and foster dogs to care for in addition to the volunteer work associated with the rescue. Your patience is appreciated.
