"Saw Smokey today online and also got my application together! This is a wonderful website--we have an 18 month australian labradoodle who would LOVE Smokey. He's a lucky boy to have so many people who want him."

Profile Information

Where are you located?
Tallahassee Florida
Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
Hi, I'm Elizabeth and my husband Gene and I are middle aged empty nesters living in Tallahassee with our beloved Australian Labradoodle Happy. Recently we had a standard poodle visiting us and became aware of how much fun the dogs werre having together and how much we enjoyed having a second dog. Because we LOVE Happy and are in love with labradoodles, we have begun looking.
Tell us about your doodle(s) and/or other pets that you have:
Happy is an18 month old Australian Labradoodle. She's a big girl, 24 inches and 60 pounds, loves to play and her name fits her perfectly. She's our happy girl, but recently my mom passed away and I was really able to see how her loving, intuitive side is growning. She's wonderful.
Where did you get your doodle(s) and/or why you have chosen a doodle
Melorich Australian Labradoodles in Cleveland Ohio. I had lost our beloved 16 year old beagle a couple of years earlier and let myself dream about what kind of a dog we would enjoy having. After research and lots of pondering we came up with labradoodle, and boy are we delighted.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Tell us a bit as to why you are here:
I'm looking at rescuing a doodle or standard poodle, came across Smokey and got very excited.
