- I am wanting to adopt a golden doodle in the near furture and would like to get one that needs a home rather than buying a puppy outright.
- Tell us about your doodle(s) and/or other pets that you have:
- Other pets inclue one AQHA show horse, one retired English Setter, 2 barn cats and 2 AKC beagle puppies just for fun!
- Where did you get your doodle(s) and/or why you have chosen a doodle
- I have chosen to adopt a golden doodle because of my allergies. My golden retreiver lived for 15 years as my house pet. Years later, I long for another house dog and since I've had poodles all my childhood and a wonderful golden as an adult, I decided that would be the best mix for my next pet!
- Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Tell us a bit as to why you are here:
- I have been in several "Resuce" settings but mainly in the equine world. I had volunteered on this form and picked up my first rescue on Satuarday.

As wonderful of a house guest as Dudley is, we were reminded last night that he is still a puppy! My hubby was cooking dinner on the grill around 7:00, and he came back to in to announce that “I had a little problem”, note, not him! LOL! Seems that he didn’t close the screen behind him and Dudley apparently saw something he was more interested in outside than inside and ran out into the yard. The cats…

What a great guy! We had our first big strom last night since Dudley came to stay with us a few weeks ago. Lots of wind, rain, thunder and things flying around the front porach. I put Dudley to bed at 9:30 as usual and he never made a peep. He is by far the best dog I've ever seen in a kennel! I have to make him get up at 7:30 in the morning to go outside. It's like have two teenagers in the house. Our son and Dudley share a room and when our son isn't home, Dudley just keeps looking for…
