Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
Our family has a wonderful 2 1/2 year old labradoodle named, Gus, who we adore!! We love him so much we would love to have another for us (My husband Rick, me and our 3 children) and a friend for Gus. I'm a nurse working 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks and am at home the rest of the time. Our children are gentle and loving and love to play with gus!
Tell us about your doodle(s) and/or other pets that you have:
Gus is so sweet, gentle, playful, snuggly and loving!! He is always with me. Anywhere I go he follows. As a puppy he would fall asleep on my feet as I was washing dishes. He loves our kids and all the neighborhood kids who come over. We have several dogs in the neighborhood who visit. Gus loves to play with all of them. He looks so sad when they have to leave. He would love another doodle in our home as much as we would.
Where did you get your doodle(s) and/or why you have chosen a doodle
Gus came from Dixiesdoodles in Texas. I originally chose a doodle for the non-shedding coat. Now that we have Gus, we are completely in love with doodles.
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Tell us a bit as to why you are here:
No. Wanting another doodle and realizing there are doodles who need to be adopted made me want to rescue one. Seeing their pictures on line (Callie and Mulligan) and looking into their eyes touches my heart and makes me want to bring them home to meet and joion our family.
