- Where are you located?

- Tell us about yourself and how we might help you:
- I adopted a beautiful, mostly lab -- part poodle, from our local shelter. We love her great temperament and happy disposition.
She really loves other dogs. I would like to adopt another doodle sometime in the near future.
- Tell us about your doodle(s) and/or other pets that you have:
- Our little bundle of fur will be 2 yrs. old in August. Her name is Jilly! My husband named her and she responded to it instantly. Our friends call her "happy dog" because her tail is always wagging and she is constantly smiling. She brings so much joy and laughter into our lives.
- Where did you get your doodle(s) and/or why you have chosen a doodle
- We adopted her from our local shelter. She was 6 lbs. and maybe 7 weeks old. They told us she was a spaniel/terrier mix but she kept growing, and growing. My vet suggested a DNA test so the results determined that either her mom or dad was 100% lab and she was at least 29 % poodle.
- Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Tell us a bit as to why you are here:
- No, but I have a lot of interest in rescue and want to help. I don't really know how to get involved -- so I thought I would start here.

The best part of fostering is when you see your foster doodle do something that they wouldn't do the day before.
If after you read it and your family is willing to be part of a fosters life, you do not have a child under the age of 5 and have a fenced in backyard, send us your Foster Application. That is also under the VOLUNTEER heading.
