I currently have a soon to be three year old golden doodle and am seriously considering adopting another. Previously I had a golden and golden doodle that passed two months apart... They were best buds and were so very happy!!! I really think my precious Tobi would do well to have a best buddy himself. He tries to play with the cat, but she is only interested in snuggling. :)
Tell us about your dog(s) and/or other pets that you have:
Three year old golden doodle and one cat... Oh yes, and a love bird. I have a huge yard with perfect fence that was chosen specifically for the safety and well being of my dogs.
If you are looking to adopt a doodle, why have you chosen this mix?
Love the mix and have plenty of experience with them... I know what to expect and all it takes. Love their sincere enthusiasm and playfulness! I have not come across a golden doodle that didn't love everyone and everything! Golden doodles are wonderful dogs!
Have you read our adoption policies?
Are you aware that many doodles are not allergy friendly and that many of them do shed?
All too well, yes. :)
Are you aware that we do not adopt to homes with children under 10, and that we do not adopt dogs for service work?
Are you now involved in Rescue? If so, how? Are you interested in volunteering with our rescue?

Check the OUR ADOPTABLE DOODLES section.! When you are looking at the pictures, notice that the two letters in front of the dog’s name mean the state they are being fostered in. While the DRC allows out of state applicants, they cannot transport the rescues and will not let them fly, so you need to be within driving distance of the foster. If you have an application on file and you see a dog under the DRC’s care, you can send an e-mail to: email@example.com stating that you have an application on file and would like to be considered for (name of dog).
