Barcley loves waterfalls

For Memorial day weekend we took a trip to Hendersonville, NC to play in the waterfalls. And as you can imagine Barcley and daughter Abbey had a blast. We also went to a street festival in Brevard, NC and I swear we were stopped about every 20 steps with folks commenting on our beautiful, adorable dog and also asking about the breed. We shared Barcleys' wonderful story of heartworm positive to happy, healthy dog with many many people! Lots of these… Continue

Lynne Fowler is a liar!

Anything Lynne Fowler posts online or sends out in any email about Doodle Rescue Collective and President Jacquie Yorke are pure pathological  fabrications and lies created by one very sick, vindictive, and mentally unstable person with a vendetta.

Lynne Fowler stole the original Doodle Rescue Collective website and the organizations dot com and dot org URLs from the DRC Board of Directors.  What she did is a crime and not only caused harm to the Rescue, she intentionally hurt all the…

P & G acquiring natural Pet Food Companies

Our dogsitter recently passed on info about P& G buying companies that produce Innova and other natural products. If anyone else is aware of this, please respond. I'm going to do some research myself but if true, guess we better check labels VERY carefully in the future to make sure we're not buying the same junk that they produce in other brands. We have always been extremely careful about what we feed all of our pets because of past experience with illness and allergy problems with those… Continue

Lexi has a new brother !

Lexi has a 7 month old apricot Goldendoodle brother!

We were able to rescue Billabog before he went to a shelter and bring him into our home...originally on a trial basis as a foster. It was instant love...watching him play with Lexi and finding out what a sweet baby boy he is. He is housebroken, totaly obedience trained, has not chewed or had an accident even when left alone in the house and is gorgeous. He is the perfect dooodle… Continue

I must be psychic or maybe psychotic

Strange things do happen.

I haven't been to the site (I know bad Sandie) for quite some time (months and months) and today I tried to go, but got the message that it was taken down. So I figured it was just a maintenance thing and that it would be up later. So off I went to come back another time.

Then, I check my email, and get the message about the old site and what happened and the new site.

I just found it odd that on the day I decide to go is…

I can't stand it, no blog posts! In the absence of other posts, I say let's all admire Poe, my DRC rescue boy. Yes, you should feel free to tell me how handsome he is!

:)

It's good to be back online, DRC! Here's to many more saved! …

Why dog toys make that sound

Earlier today I'm in the sunporch and I hear a squeak.

We have a rabbit that loves to tease Matilda. It sits in the neighbours (cdn spelling) backyard and knows that Matilda can see it, but also knows that Matilda can't get at it. Smart bunny.

When I go outside I find a baby rabbit, frightened to death. Rabbits make the same noise as all those squeaky dog toys.

I guess the mature rabbit gave birth under my sunporch. Gawd, I hope they're like my…
