Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue
Today I picked up Baxter to foster for a little while for DRC. He is chalk colored with a silky fleece coat and a cute black Doodle nose. I have only had him for 5 hours but so far he is well mannered, calm in the house, playful and joyful with my two Doodles and absolutely adorable to look at. He still needs a little work with the potty training but we are working on that. Here are some pictures for you.. Aprox. 40#

Comment by Karen & Jack on September 7, 2012 at 11:48am Steven, as you can see, this blog is from June, and Baxter has long since been adopted. The available doodles in our program can be seen under "Our Adoptable Doodles" (tab at top of page) and also in the center of the main page of this website.

Comment by Colleen, Jake & Baxter on June 11, 2012 at 10:25pm Baxter is just back home from a wonderful fun time at Diane Marra's house a fellow foster for DRC. Her girls took good care of him while I went to a meeting. Baxter got to meet and play with 3 doodles and one of them was the very handsome Obie. He is one of the Tennessee doodles and he looks like a million bucks...... kind of like one of those designer dogs...LOL. He is one gorgeous dood now!
Comment by Linda Rubin on June 11, 2012 at 7:17pm This adorable baby is now in a more permanent foster home in Virginia. I miss him, as he was such a low maintenance, loving little guy. I hear that he is doing very well.
Comment by Amy Butt on June 5, 2012 at 12:17pm What a beauty!! and appears to be well behaved.....he will be a great catch for someone.
Too bad this guy isn't closer to me. My Maggie is begging me for a brother (and my husband is wanting to add to the family too). Enjoy your time fostering. :-)

Comment by Linda Rubin on June 4, 2012 at 9:27am Morning update: Baxter slept all night in the crate that was in the room next to mine (the doggie bedroom). I put some country music on the radio and never heard a peep. This morning we did business and then took a one mile walk; all three doodles. I can report that he walks in the heel position and does not pull. He is not reactive to big scary, black great Danes, school busses or leaf blowers. What more could you want? All three are sleeping now. No accidents so far today.
Comment by Nancy, Ned and Clancy on June 3, 2012 at 10:34pm Baxter is just adorable. I'll bet he is not fostered for very long....
