ADOPTED! Meet Winston a doodle available in Lakeland, FL!

Meet Winston! A small doodle (12 lbs) available for adoption in Lakeland, FL! Winston was found abandoned and hit by car at a local park in Jacksonville, FL. A good Samaritan took him to the ER and the doctors there diagnosed him with a sacrocaudal fracture. He was also very malnourished and severely dehydrated. Doctors guess he is around 1 year old or less.

Since being in foster care Winston has had to have his tail amputated to help with his healing but that hasn't stopped him! He is a spunky little guy that is full of love. He was just recently groomed and did great there! He still needs work on his potty training skills. He will make a wonderful addition for someone who is patient with him. We do not know his past but we know that is not stopping him from being an amazing little guy!

Winston will do best in an adult home where someone is at home a good part of the time.

To adopt Winston, please read our adoption policies to be sure that you qualify: http://doodlerescue.org/notes/DRC_ADOPTION_POLICIES_AND_PROCEDURES

Hi Sandy,

Since our dogs are all fostered in private homes, meetings do not take place until an application has been submitted, references have been checked, interviews have taken place, and the applicant is being seriously considered as a good match for the dog.
The first step is to read our adoption policies, and then if you meet the requirements, submit an application.

What a sweet little guy, and he looks so happy in spite of all he has gone through! He deserves a very special home.
