Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue
Its now just a little over two weeks since Miles, as in Davis, aka "Rufus" (in his previous life) came into my life. I am the most blessed person for having the amazing doodle as part of my family.
His life in our quiet, little southern Indiana town began with a early morning "Walk for Fitness" outing where he walked with none other than our very own governor and many children from the local schools. All the children fell instantly in love with Mr. Miles, almost as much as he LOVED all the attention and petting they were showering on him.
Miles accompanies me to work every, single day where he is all too happy to be the official greeter of the shop. He is such a well mannered, cool and loving fellow. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him.
He has not been apprehensive about any of the changes he is experiencing. Although he is hesitant to venture into water, he LOVES going out on the pontoon and has become our official mascot... it was a site seeing us get this 81lb horse of a dog onto a pontoon that was already launched... (we failed on fore-site that day) Honestly, I don't think it will be long before he will decide to give swimming a try. He seems to be slowly entertaining the water.
He has met many people, many fellow canines and seems to love them all no matter what the size or temperament. He is best with the little, tiny fur-friends, so gentle and seems to enjoy their energy. I see more personality come out with each day. He seems to be getting more and more playful. He minds exceptionally well. He is a remarkable and regal animal.
