Labradoodle Rescue & Goldendoodle Rescue
Little Miss Molly is slowly coming out of her shell. She slept for pretty much 36 hrs straight when we first got her, but has now started following me around the house and has even showed a little interest in toys. She does love the dog beds and the couch and due to her deafness, really enjoys a long deep nap!
Even though Molly seems to be pretty much completely deaf, we decided to change her name just in case she might have some hearing left. Michele Long suggested the name, Rue, (think Hunger Games) and I think that fits her perfectly. So Rue it is!
Tonight Rue went to the groomer to spruce up the "emergency" clip job we had to do on Sat to remove all the mats. She has a lion cut now and looks absolutely adorable!
On Friday Rue will have blood work done and surgery to remove and biopsy the mass on her gum and the perianal mass. Hopefully everything comes back benign and Rue can go about the business of finding her forever home and living a long and happy rest of her life. This really is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met and she deserves so much better than what life has handed her so far.
