Norman finds a home! (also on Doodle Kisses)

Wow! It has been a little over 2 weeks since we brought Norman to his forever family. I've been meaning to sit down and post for a while now, but we've been trying to get back to our pre-Norman schedule & it has been a little bit of an adjustment.

We had him two months, so he had plenty of time for his skin to heal. We're definitely missing him at our house, but we could not have asked for a better family for him!

He has a new big brother, a Great Pyrenees, and a new "little" big sister, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, plus two parents that love him like crazy!

All of our friends asked if Adoption Day was hard, and if it was hard to say goodbye. I can honestly say it wasn't. He is such a sweet little guy, and I feel so blessed that we had him in our lives. I know that he is so happy in his new home, and it was such an honor to give him a good start.

Best wishes on your new start Norman!

Thanks for all of your help, Tracy!

They kept the name Norman :-) They loved it & it fit with their Great Pyrenees' name, Duncan. She sent me a couple of pictures of him a couple of days after he was at their house. It looks like he's fitting in well! She said he has been a joy!

Thanks for fostering him, Libby!  Do you know if the new owners kept his name Norman or did they re-name him?  I think the name, Norman really suited him.  I'm thrilled that he is so happy in his new home and he looks fantastic thanks to your great care.

I have some of the best volunteers in Texas for DRC...but, I may be a bit biased :).

Yay Norman! Thank you so much for all that you did for this boy Libby! You did an outstanding job...I have to tell you that I was ready to get on a plane and come and get him myself. He reminds me so much of my Blakey....

Thank you for fostering this sweet doodle.  Some adoption days are harder then others and I am still a newbie.
