We ARE in the Midwest, lol. We are all over the country, we are nationwide. Like most private breed specific rescues, we do not operate a shelter, our dogs are fostered in private homes throughout the U.S. There are only two legitimate doodle rescues, and we are both nationwide.
The dog you saw on the Lost & Found site has indeed been taken into our program, but is not available for adoption at this time, and we have no other information available. I do know that the dog needed extensive vetting.
Rescue and adoption are not meant to be ways for people to avoid paying breeders' prices. And new fosters must successfully foster for our rescue at least twice before they are eligible to adopt one of our dogs. However, we are always in need of good experienced foster homes in the Midwest.
